It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Richard William Bemis (Spokane WA) on October 18, 2023.
Richard was born in San Francisco California on July 6, 1962. He was the eldest of three children born to Frank Richard Bemis (Robin) and the late Catherine Eileen Fritz (Jerry). Richard, a young 61-year-old man, leaves behind many family members and dear lifelong friends, a sister who idolized him, Kellie E. Risso and (Mark Laurence) of Idaho.
Our family is deeply heartbroken to have lost Richard; he was a precious soul that will never be replaced and will forever be missed by all. Our family has many wonderful memories of him, and we will miss the opportunity to create future memories with him. Please keep Richard in your thoughts, prayers, and memories. Never forget what a terrific person he was, adored and loved by all who met him.

A celebration of life will take place next spring along the Pacific Coast beach areas of Ocean Shores, WA. His ashes will be scattered at sea along with his deceased younger brother's ashes, William Frank Bemis, who left us 6 years ago. May they both rest in peace in the heavenly Kingdom of eternal life.
